The Wilkins Group Purchases Komori's GLX-740+CC Advance EX Edition at drupa 2024

Düsseldorf - Komori Europe is excited to announce that during the drupa 2024 exhibition, The Wilkins Group has purchased the state-of-the-art GLX-740+CC Advance EX Edition, installed at the Komori booth. This acquisition, just 18 months after the last Komori purchase, underscores the Wilkins Group's commitment to investing in cutting-edge technology and enhancing its printing capabilities for the retail and food packaging segments.

The GLX-740+CC Advance EX Edition is renowned for its superior performance, energy-efficient design, and advanced features. This seven-colour sheetfed offset printing press with inline double coater is engineered to deliver exceptional print quality and productivity, making it a perfect fit for the increased demands of the Wilkins Group.

The Wilkins Group is a specialist in supplying retail packaging worldwide to a range of markets including chilled and frozen food, textiles, confectionery, toiletries, luxury, and household products.

The UK head office, a modern 170,000 square foot facility located in Nottingham is the hub of its operations. Dealing with manufacturers and marketing departments on an international level, they have also invested in state-of-the-art hubs in Sri Lanka, China, and Bangladesh, allowing them to maintain a hugely successful global trading network
