When & how started your relationship with Komori?  

The first contact dates back to 2005. At that time, we actively approached companies by phone and Komori was one of the companies we contacted. During the early conversations, we talked about the retirement arrangements and wishes for the future. In 2007, we started the actual collaboration, since there was a wish to modernize the arrangements.

Can you also tell a bit more about the work you are doing?  

100% Helder is an intermediary specialized in retirements. I am one of the 2 founders of 100% Helder and I have been in contact with Komori for the past 16 years. I enjoy staying involved in the operation plus I very much appreciate the contact with Erik Achterkamp and Merel Bloemendaal.

In 2007 we started the collaboration and at that time,  we managed the transition to a new retirement plan. Since then, we have been ensuring that the agreements made at the time are properly implemented. We also provide advice, for new employees, for example. We explain how the pension plan works and help to draw a personal pension plan. Overall our goal is to make our customer's life easier and provide accurate advice and help with the set-up of personal retirement plans.

What do you like about working together with Komori?  

What I appreciate about Komori, is that they believe it is important that their employees are well-informed about their retirement. In my opinion, Komori takes good care of their people, but also the relations with external parties. I like the contact I have with Komori; it is professional, amicable and loyal. We have short lines of communication and we are honest and open with each other. Once in a while, we have lunch to also discuss the collaboration.

Do you have special memories or anecdotes to tell about working with Komori?  

A long time ago I went together with Erik & Ellen from Komori to the HISWA. I went to get drinks, not knowing yet that this would go wrong. An entire glass of rose I then dropped straight into Ellen's shoes. Fortunately, the collaboration continued.

Another memory I have is visiting a football game with Erik. I live nearby Amsterdam and it is rare to find like-minded people when it comes to a preference for a certain football club. But luckily I can share the excitement for my team with Erik Achterkamp (especially this year).

Do you have any future outlooks or anniversary wishes for Komori? 

Happy birthday first of all!

I find it impressive that Komori manages to adapt to an era where print is becoming less and less. You can only do that if you keep adapting over and over again. My wish for Komori is that they maintain their adaptability to do what they do best. Delivering quality as an A-brand!
